Herbert Hoover High School (commonly abbreviated HHHS) is a public high school in Falling Rock, West Virginia. The current principal is Mr. Mike Kelley, who has been with the school since 2009.
Herbert Hoover High School claims to be a "magnet school for technology" (i.e. a school to attract students by the use of technology in many classes), but in 2006 Herbert Hoover lost this status. Herbert Hoover has many special classes including AFJROTC, a cooking class, shop, forensic lab, and aviation.
The Herbert Hoover High School Marching Huskies is one of the eight public high schools in Kanawha County that participate in the Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival. They are the first band to have won the Festival Grand Championship, which was first awarded in 1970. They were also the first band to have won the festival five consecutive times. They have a total of nine wins at the festival (1970, 1977, 1980-84, 1987-88). They have also had eight girls named Miss Kanawha Majorette.
The Marching Huskies also host their own band festival for other high school bands around the state.
